The big day is very close were you all get to watch your athlete perform at our annual showcase. Please be aware the entrance to the showcase is at the back of the sports complex on the University grounds.

Running Orders have been uploaded to the FILE section of your class portal and attached to the very bottom of the email sent out.

Here are the details to accompany the times.

May 25th - University of Galway Kingfisher sports hall (BACK ENTRANCE): 9:45am-12pm Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your scheduled registration time.

Arrival
The entrance to the showcase is to the back of the University of Galway Kingfisher Sports Arena and NOT reception. This is the entrance which faces the main Newcastle road. Do not go to reception.

All athletes have been given a designated call time which is listed on the running order below. This is the time to register at Warmup/Registration desk.

Please do not leave your child unattended. Go to the warmup registration desk and ensure you are presenting at the correct time. Then find a space in the spectator area (more below).
If you arrive early please wait until your designated time to present at Warmup/Registration desk.

Warm Up
When arriving at Warm Up for your athlete's session, please make sure you have a bag with you. You will take their shoes and any other personal items (jewelry/phone etc) and keep them with you until they finish their routine.

Once an athlete enters warmup, you will not be able to see them again until they perform shortly after. When their performance has ended, they will receive their Certificate and Medal and pose for Team Photos. Parents do NOT have access to the photo area. 

For parents who wish to watch in front of the main floor, there will be a designated space for this. However, much of the seating is tiered and so there will be visibility from all points in the arena. Please don't stand at the front, it's unfair on the parents who are sitting.

After
Parents will collect their athlete from the LEFT side of the floor. You may then choose to stay and watch afterwards which we encourage, to see all the other fantastic performances.
Make sure your athlete knows who they are leaving with. If you cannot be there, you must have arranged for the athlete to be chaperoned on the day.
