21CC Team Results

Congratulations to all our teams who competed at the 21st Century Cheer competition in Gormanston. Great results achieved!

Shade - 2nd place - Junior prep Level 1
Wicked Women - 4th place - Senior Level 2
Iron ladies - 1st place - Senior Level 3
Icons - 1st place - Senior All Star Level 5
​Alliance - 1st place - Senior Coed Level 5

Shane - 2nd place - Solo Tumbling Level 5
Annalee, Casey & Katie - 2nd place - Junior Trio 

Our club also received the most prestigious award of all...the 21CC Spirit Cup...for showing great team spirit and support not only towards our own club teams but also towards teams from the other clubs competing! We really do have an amazing group of young athletes....and their cheering parents of course!!

Celtic Spirit Competition March 9th Breaffy House Hotel Co Mayo March 9th
All Cheer teams will compete at this event. March 9th
There will be a bus service available on the day. Bus must be booked in advance.
All Recreational Gymnastic Programs held on Saturdays will not have class this day.

Worlds team fundraiser
Our Level 5 Cheerleading Team has once again won a bid to compete at the Invite only Cheerleading Worlds. This year representing Celtic Spirit Cheer and Dance, the team will be traveling to Orlando to compete against the best in the world and try to beat our score and placement from last year! This is an expensive trip and we need help.
If anyone is in a position to help on our fundraising team or to sponsor a prize or donate anything helpful to the team this season for the trip, please get in touch or let a member know and we’ll contact you.
We will be hosting a bake sale at this weekend’s Celtic Spirit Competition. If any parent would like to donate bakes, please bring them with you on the day, we would really appreciate the effort.

Showcase April 21st
We will be having a Team Showcase for our Worlds Team on April 21st. We will have all of our athletes compete cheer stunt groups, solos, duos or trios, Trampoline routines, or team gym routines. This is once again a fundraiser and all athletes will be charged €10 for their entry to cover the cost of medals and the venue, with the balance going to the team trip. We are excited to give our gymnasts a chance to showcase their skills too!! VENUE (Galway Lawn Tennis Club Salthill)
