Senior gymnastics coach

We are looking for a coach with qualifications to teach gymnastics in a club building from a grassroots level. If you love instilling structure, helping to create training systems to develop athlete conditioning, building children into athletes, having fun while teaching skills, and have a track record of proven results, then we'd love to have you as part of our team!

Details:
Work Days - Weekday evenings and some Saturdays.
Hours - Min 20 hours per week
Salary - Negotiable, dependent on experience

Recreational Coaches across all Disciplines

Stuntworx requires coaches who want to work with children at all ages and who are energetic, work on their own initiative and are committed to being part of a team for at least one full season.
For this role, you will be teaching a preset syllabus of various disciplines across most of our classes.
You do not need discipline specific experience as we can teach you everything you need to know within our coach training program. However, experience working with children or in a club environment is preferred.
Experience of gymnastics or similar in the place of experience teaching children will also be considered.

Trainee and Junior Coaches

Trainee/Junior Coach Program

We are now offering a training program for Junior/Beginner Coaches. Junior coaches must be 14 or older to begin coach training.

The program is designed to find coaches that we can offer placements to as they arise. The coaches will be placed on a panel and will be called upon and offered positions once they become available. Current Coaching opportunities are available from June.

Junior coaches receive part paid tuition in exchange for coaching hours once they have completed their first 3 months of shadow and supervision.
We will also try to give you camp hours which are paid at a higher rate and all coaches are paid for camps.

Adult Trainee Coaches are expected to be able to commit slightly more time, and train up faster. After your first training week you will be paid at minimum wage and once you are able to take classes alone, you will receive a set coach wage based on performance.

Junior Coach Duties
Shadow Coach for 1 month (4 of each class)
This involves passive supervision without hands on spotting

Active Supervision for 2 months (8 of each class)
This involves active supervision with hands on spotting

Junior Coach Status for 1 month (4 of each class)
Probationary Period of 1 month involving supervision of groups whilst being passively supervised.
